    Make it happen

Without volunteers North Fork Animal Welfare League would not exist. All volunteers wishing to join the League’s programs are welcome.

Activities North Fork Animal Welfare League volunteers support include:

  • Dog walking
  • Cat cuddling (especially during kitten season)
  • Kitten fostering
  • Photography
  • Envelope stuffing
  • NFAWL approved fund raising
  • Dishwashing
  • Laundry
  • Veterinary transport
  • Volunteers who offer special skills are encouraged to meet with North Fork Animal Welfare League staff to arrange activities. For example, Al LaFrance has been contributing time both to develop a humane education program and to revise the format and content of www.nfawl.org

We look forward to working together to make the world a more humane place for animals.
